Also known as the Sphinx Moth or an Osiris Moth1, I have adopted it as the symbol of the guitars I’m building for Limbic Research.

I found these neck bolt plates from Guyker that features the moth, some moons or planets in phase and a pair of hands releasing the moth into the universe.. lol… I don’t know, it had a moth with a skull, it came in black, chrome and gold.. it was different. So I adopted the moth

But, what to do with set-neck guitars (no bolt plate)? For a Les Paul I found a back side switch cover plate and truss rod covers from Guyker that have the moth on it. I might use them, but to be honest they is a little more gothic/aged than I wanted for my guitars.
So I found a vector art file of the moth and I can use that to make waterslides.

I can put it on the headstock, or maybe on the back where the neck meets the body, like where the bolt plate sits on those guitars that have them.
I certainly do not want to over do the whole moth concept and put moths everywhere I can, in every format I can find.. It’s not a moth guitar. Subtlety, is the point here.
