The paint from Oxford Supply arrived yesterday. I never got a shipping notice from Oxford, but the paint showed up at my door about a week after placing the order, no complaints there. So far, no tariff.

The Deluxe kit consists of:
In addition to the kit I wanted to finish the neck
I ordered the other painting related supplies. I’ll save the tent and enclosure for another time (if ever) it kinda sounds like overkill for someone that MIGHT paint 10 guitars. Here’s the list
I have the paint, but it’s summer in Texas. It’s warm (hot), humid (it’s actually raining this weekend) and I do not hat a climate controlled painting environment.
I think once we dry out, it may be very dry for some time. At least long enough to get the painting and clear coats done
I’m considering ordering a paint kit for my next build so I can maximize any painting window I get.
I want to hedge my bets, and time and the Texas summer and I ordered the Nectarine paint kit from Oxford Guitar Supply I order another full kit which include more grain filler that I won’t need1. I ordered “Natural” last time so I spec’d the “Dark Walnut” this time. Maybe next time I’ll get the “Red Mahogany” so I’ll have them all when the time comes to actually grain fill a piece of wood.
Looks like the Texas summer is fast approaching. Which means low humidity and warm temperatures. I may get to paint in a week or two.
