The Les Paul kit is backordered from Harley Benton. But, I am thinking a nice “Vintage Amber Transparent” and find a way to have it slightly darken at the edges, like a very subtle Burst.
The kit is taking a while and I’m not looking forward to the tariff. I had Thomann cancel this order. I ordered a Leo Jaymz Les Paul instead. Side note, the Benton kit uses a bolt on neck, the Jaymz kit uses a glued, set neck. That sounds fun, and different from every other Fender type guitar I’ll build. Might be rethinking the color, too
